THE WORLD OF SEIYŪBeyond the star tide, the lamps remainRead the chronicle +

When a wish made in the human world loses its bearer before it is fulfilled, it drifts into the night sky. Countless wishes gather into a current beneath the heavens. The shrine’s old records call it the star tide.

Seiyū stands upon that current. Its approaches shift with the moon, and different skies appear beyond its gates. News of a return matters more here than a date on a calendar. Each returning traveler adds one more flame to the courtyard lanterns.

Once, the star tide lost its light and every road home closed. On that night, later recorded as the star eclipse, the guardians met the dawn at their separate posts. What did they protect? What did they lose? Some pages of the encounter book are still unspoken.

First encounter: a guardian’s story. Each new form: another tale. All three: a secret and a special illustration.
